I recently got a birthday cake made 4 my dad by Barbie Bakes Cakes. The cake was excellent value for money and was huge and best of all chocolate!!! I have never tasted anything like it, it was perfect! The texture, design and plenty of chocolate all over and we loved it all that much we fought over the last piece. Last August was my eldest 21st birthday and he is addicted to his X-Box, so I thought the perfect cake for him as an X-Box cake. I had never seen one before. Through a friend of a friend I contacted Babs, But I live in Dublin and the party was on a Saturday. She was so professional and made lots of suggestions for the designs. She offered to deliver the cake to me on the Friday evening before the party. I was delighted when I seen the cake and as the party was more a Family Party; there was a lot of small kids attending who were also X-Box fanatics. Everyone wanted a slice. The cake tasted as good as it looked if not nicer. We had some left overs the following day..still went down a treat. I would highly recommend Babs to anyone who would like a once off, or something unusual designed, she is full of imagination and very reasonably priced. Barbie Bakes Cakes made a fabulous cake for my leaving day at work. There was enough cake to feed a hoard of hungry people, mostly men and even some left over for my kids, who absolutely loved the sweetie design. I left the creation all up to Barbie Bakes Cakes, and it didn’t disappoint! The glorious chocolate cake, with sweets covering the top and kit kats all around the outside was a chocaholics heaven and made my last day at work even more memorable. Thank you!
